PRODUCER'S NOTE
GRITOS (Spanish for "screams") expresses the inexplicable emotion of the birth of a new life, our first wine. The grapes are grown on our own vines, which are carefully cultivated and nurtured to flourish and produce brilliantly flavored fruit. This blend epitomizes the refined essence of winemaking.

TASTING NOTE
GRITOS 2007 MALBEC is a medium-bodied, intensely ruby red wine offering a lovely dark berry aroma and a palate focused on red fruit, plums, and figs. Its sweet and persistent tannins are complimented by aging in French oak barrels. The long, well-balanced finish shows notes of vanilla. Gritos is particularly good with grilled meats, poultry dishes, and pasta with meat sauces. Serve at cool room temperature (65^oF/18^oC).
